Limassol

It’s perhaps not surprising that the cost of living in Limassol is considerably higher than the rest of the island due to the high property prices and rents. The estimated monthly cost for a family of four is €4,262 and a single person €2,368.

The monthly rent for an 85 sqm furnished apartment in an expensive area is €2,004 and in a normal area, €1,429.

Nicosia

The estimated monthly cost for a family of four living in Nicosia is €3,273 and €1,398 for a single person.

The monthly rent for an 85 sqm furnished apartment in an expensive area is €904 and in a normal area, €697.

Larnaca

The estimated monthly cost for a family of four living in Larnaca is €2,895 and €1,242 for a single person.

The monthly rent for an 85 sqm furnished apartment in an expensive area is €942 and in a normal area, €447.

Cost of living comparisons

Limassol is 17% more expensive than Nicosia and 27% more expensive than Larnaca.

Nicosia is 15% less expensive than Limassol but 9% more expensive than Larnaca.

Larnaca is 21% cheaper than Limassol and 8% cheaper than Nicosia.
